Five God Dragon - F.G.D
Here is a card that a good amount of people know about and would like to see! The Five God
Dragon. From rumors I hear that this card is only 2 sets away from being released in English.
Personally I thought that it would be a promo.
The Five God Dragon actually is a promo card in Japan. It can be found in the GameBoy Advance
game 'Duel Monsters 7: Duel City Legend', which to us is 'The Sacred Cards'.
The Five God Dragon made its first appearance in a non-manga related part of the anime. When
Kaiba is trapped in his game world, he was about to be sacrificed to the Five God Dragon
unstill Mokuba saved him. The Five God Dragon really wasn’t intended to be a card, but after
the anime was released, the idea of it becoming a card seemed to stick.
The translation of the card are as follows: This Monster can only be Special Summoned by a
Fusion. This Monster is fused with 5 Dragon Sub-Type Monsters. This
Monster does not receive Battle Damage from Earth, Water, Fire, Air or Dark Main-Type
Monsters.
This card is awesome!!! It can be used easily in any dragon deck that has fusion (poly) in
it! It does not require any specific dragons to fuse! You can use any five dragon of any
level! With a dragon deck like mine, that will be a piece of cake! Really all I gotta do is
add the poly card and I’m ready to go! The ATK and DEF cant be ignored either! 5000/5000! It
can also hold its own against any decks with a element theme to it! A lot of monsters in
ocean, harpie, and fiend decks cant attack the Five God Dragon cuz majority of those cards
are water, air, and dark main-types! Ha ha ha people are not gonna like it if I pull out this
dragon!!
Now with an effects like this, you gotta wonder if it will change in English. Will it be a
secret rare? A promo? Or something way-out-wack! One thing I can almost guarantee is that it
wont be called 'Five God Dragon'! Mainly due to the 'God' part and we all know how partial
our kids are to religion....GIMMIE A BREAK! Most likely this card will be called the same
thing in the anime-dub, 'The Mystic Dragon'. Or I could be wrong. When the translator royally
messes up on the 'Luster Dragon', case you really gotta wonder what the hell they've been
smoking these days.
Overall this card is great! A must get for a dragon deck! Its easy to summon, and it wont add
A lot of card to your deck. If you already have a bunch of dragons in your deck, you're really
only adding two card to it! I know i'll be getting my hands on it when its released!
