Magic Box Of Death
Seeing that Premium Packs was kinda of the topic on the last rare-card, I thought I'd take a look at another one.
The Magic Box Of Death is another card I pulled from the Premium Pack 4. This is a card that I suspect to hit English shelves
soon.
Now one thing I have noticed with the Premium Packs are they're grouped into themes that fit a
certain deck type. The Premium Pack 4 was made for the magician deck that no one has... at
least not in my area.
Magic Box Of Death is a card that a lot of people are always asking me "What does it do? Is it like the show?" The answer is
no. The best thing about this card is you do not have to put it in a magician deck, so I guess the
reason why they put the card in Premium Pack 4 is due to Yuugi's deck... a magician deck that so happens to have Magic Box Of
Death in it... surprise surprise.
Anyway the translation of the card are as follows: Destroy 1 of your opponent's Monsters on the Field, then give
control of 1 of your Monsters to your opponent.
This card can really open the door to some neat combos! It can also give the Mushroom man #2 a purpose or you could just really piss off you opponent by destroying their Blue Eyes White Dragon and give them your Skull Servant! Ha ha ha! I should try that when this card comes in English! But besides giving your opponent one of your monsters, the Magic Box Of Death is great for a instant kill on one of you oppoent's monsters! Knowing what card you are going to give them to replace it is the bonus! Not to mention if you DO give them a Skull Servent in attack mode, you can really do some damage!
This card can be great of almost any kind of deck! Especially the so-called 'piss-off' decks, which I just may make when this card comes in English, combine it with 'Disturbance Strategy' and I'll really have my opponent's hopping mad!
