The translation of this card are as follows: As long as this card is face-up on the Field, your opponent cannot attack with a Magic User Sub-Type Monster.

In other words this card is made for playing against a magician or spell caster deck. Again not many people play with a deck that consists of Black Magician and Black Magician Girls, but today in English boosters, there are decent cards out there that can make a good spell caster deck! So which means if I’m fighting someone who has a spell caster deck who nothing but spell casters and magicians, laying Magician's Valkyria will stop the opponent in their tracks, unless of course they use a magic card to destroy Magician's Valkyria.

Now that we know what the card does, why is it so rare? Is there a awesome combo that be preformed with this card? Or is there a fusion card that involves it? Not really. Most of the cards that Yuugi uses in the Manga/Anime are really rare, weither they are good cards or not. Same with the Black Magician Girl! That card is really rare and yet it dosn't do a whole lot. You get 300 extra attack power for every Black Magician in your and your opponent’s grave...Woopie... Lets make a Black Magician deck that really sucks. But a lot of the Japanese cards have not been translated for English boosters, so I could be wrong.

The only reason why I think this card is so rare is because it has the Black Magician Girl on it. What other reason could there be? I don't know anyone who uses a spell caster deck, so therefore no one will be getting this card for dueling-wise. But I got a feeling that everyone will want it for collector's value. Seeing you can't buy the Limited Edition Pack 5's, you will have to send in an application form from the Jump Magazine from the May month issue to get one! Can you say value-much?
